Terms of service

These conditions apply to all three packages. What you sign when you hire us is a detailed version of this, with no extra surprises.

This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the one that governs.

What we deliver

The scope of each package is published on the packages page, including the list of what it does not include. What isn't on that list isn't in the price. If you need something outside the scope, we quote it separately before doing it, never after.

The site is yours

The domain and the hosting are registered in your name and with your card. When it goes live we hand you every password. The text and the design we produce are yours to use however you like, even if tomorrow you work with someone else.

We reserve the right to show the finished work as an example, unless you ask us not to.

30-day guarantee

For the first 30 days after your site goes live, any error or fault gets fixed at no cost and as many times as it takes. The guarantee covers what doesn't work the way we promised; it doesn't cover content changes, new sections or redesigns, which are additional work and are quoted as such.

After the 30 days

The guarantee ends, the relationship doesn’t. From there you have two routes and both are published: you can take one of the monthly plans, which include hours for changes and the fixing of faults, or take none and ask us for things one at a time. In that case an hour of work is $50 and we always tell you how many it takes before we start, never after.

There's no fee just for existing: if you ask us for nothing, you pay nothing. Your site stays yours and stays online — you pay the domain and the hosting to the provider, the same as from day one.

What we need from you

The content — reference text, photos, a logo if you have one, contact details — and one person who can approve things. The timeline runs from when we have the content, not from the signature. If the content is late, the launch date moves with it.

Cancellation

If you cancel after we've started, the first payment isn't refunded: it covers the work already done. If we cancel over something you can't resolve, we refund what you paid minus the work delivered, and we hand you that work.

Conditions

The rules, before you sign

None of this is fine print. It's here because these are the rules that head off the misunderstandings that ruin a project, and you'd rather read them now than argue them later.

What counts as a round of revisions

A round is one list, sent all at once. You go through the whole site calmly, note down everything you want changed, and send it to us together.

Four separate messages over the course of a week are four rounds, not one. It isn't to punish you: it's so you can review properly before writing. When changes arrive one at a time, each one means redoing work that was already finished, and the site ends up later and worse. One list is better for both of us.

  • Express2 to 3 revisionsExtra round: $50
  • Business5 revisionsExtra round: $50
  • ProUnlimited revisions

How payment works

On Express and Business, 50% and 50%: half to start and half on delivery, before it goes live.

On Pro, 40%, 30% and 30%: at the start, halfway through and on delivery. It's a longer project and payment follows the actual progress.

The domain and hosting go in your name

We register them with your details and your card, in front of you, on the kickoff call. They never end up in our name.

This is the most important thing on this list. It means the site is genuinely yours: if tomorrow you want to work with someone else, you leave with everything and you don't have to ask our permission or wait for us to reply. There are agencies that register the domain in their own name precisely so you can't do that.
